Missouri

For Missouri USSSA, teams can qualify in one or two possible scenarios:
Fall Qualifying
Direct Berth: For direct berths in all fall Missouri USSSA Tournaments, one berth will be awarded up to 12 teams.  Two berths for divisions greater than 12.  To fulfill this berth, teams MUST participate in one event after March 1, and MUST participate in a Summer Missouri USSSA State Tournament.
At-Large Berth: For the 2010 season, the Fall tournaments will only give 1/2 credit for the at-large qualifying.
Spring/Summer Qualifying
Direct Berth: For direct berths in all Missouri USSSA Tournaments, a sliding scale will be used to determine the number of berths awarded per division. For 1-8 teams, one berth will be awarded. For 8-14 teams, 2 berths will be awarded. For 15 or more teams, 3 berths will be awarded. To fulfill this berth, teams MUST participate in a Summer Missouri USSSA State Tournament.
At-Large Berth (change for 2010) :
10U-14U Teams: Teams that participate in five (5) USSSA qualifying tournaments (in any state) will be awarded a USSSA World Series berth. To fulfill this berth, teams MUST participate in a Summer Missouri USSSA State Tournament. (Reminder, all fall events gave 1/2 credit towards at-large berth)
15U-18U Teams: Teams that participate in three (3) USSSA qualifying tournaments (in any state) will be awarded a USSSA World Series berth. To fulfill this berth, teams MUST participate in one event after March 1st, and MUST participate in a Summer Missouri USSSA State Tournament. (Reminder, all fall events gave 1/2 credit towards at-large berth)
